Physical Benefit: Improves posture, balance, and flexibility of shoulders and back.
Instruction: Stand straight with feet together. Bend knees and inhale as you sweep arms forward and interlock thumbs.
Exhale straightening knees, reaching up and back slightly, arms near your ears. Tuck your tailbone under, reach and look UP – pointing and reaching like an arrow aimed at a bull’s eye target on the ceiling. Breathe gently and deeply. Relax neck and shoulders.
◊◊◊

Optional Affirmations (Choose One):

“I am an honest person. I tell the truth.”
“I tell the truth because it is the right thing to do.”
“I tell the truth to others and I tell the truth to myself.”
“I am strong enough to tell the truth because I’m an honest person.”
◊◊◊

Optional Poem – Can you Act Out this poem?

Tell all the Truth
By Emily Dickinson
Tell all the truth but tell it slant,
Success in circuit lies,
Too bright for our infirm delight
The truth's superb surprise;

As lightning to the children eased
With explanation kind,
The truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind.
